17.03.2006 - Keine Fotos! - No
pictures! Vormittags fünf Minuten vor
zwölf Uhr als letzter Teilnehmer ein Visum für Belarus
bekommen, nachmittags dann im Vorbereitungsseminar von SILBA teilgenommen,
danach den Zug nach Minsk genommen. Got five minutes to twelve as last
participant a visa for Belarus, therefor I participated in the
afternoon in the preparation seminar of SILBA, lateron we took the train to
Minsk. |

18.03.2006 Nur zwei von acht in Kiev in den
Zug Eingestiegenen kommen in Minsk an, bis mittags Ausschlafen in
unserem Appartment, danach Lebensmitten einkaufen, später Treffen
mit anderen Wahlbeobachtern. Only two out of eight who entered
the train in Kiev arrived in Minsk, till noon resting in our
appartment, then shopping food, later a meeting with other election
observers. |

19.03.2006 Untertags war es ruhig in Minsk,
am Abend gab es dann im Zentrum eine Massendemonstration (10.000 -
15.000 Teilnehmer). Ein Großaufgebot der Polizei schritt
glücklicherweise nicht ein. During the day it was quiet in
Minsk, in the evening a large demonstration took place in the center of
the city (10.000 - 15.000 participants). Huge police forces didn't
intervene fortunately. |

20.03.2006 Dieser Montag sah wie ein normaler
Arbeitstag aus, abends gab es wieder eine Demonstration am Oktoberplatz
mit allen Führern der Opposition in Belarus. This monday seemed to be a normal
working day, but in the evening there was another demostration at
October square where all leaders of the Belarussion opposition
participated. |

21.03.2006 Benutzte diesen Tag um Minsk
anzusehen, abschliessend noch ein kurzer Besuch bei der
alltäglichen Veranstaltung der Opposition im Zentrum der Stadt vor
der Rückreise nach Kiev. This day i used to explore Minsk,
finally I visited again the happening of the opposition in the city
center before I started my way back to Kiev. |

22.03.2006 Zurück in Kiev standen ein
längerer Besuch im Büro von SILBA und ein kurzer Spaziergang durch
die Straßen von Kiev - im Wahlkampffieber - am Programm. Danach
Rückflug nach Wien. Returned to Kiev I stayed for a
while in the office of SILBA.
Before I flew home to Vienna I had a short walk through the election
campaigns in the city. |
